Alternative Horsemanship Daily Demo Clinic

Final Alternative Horsemanship Daily Demo Clinic

Saturday, June 25, 2022 The Goal and Purpose of the Clinics
*Clarifying Communication with the Horse *Improving Timing *Connecting how the Horse's thoughts and emotions influence his physical responses *Supporting vs Challenging the Horse How to eliminate critical, reactive communication and replace it with pro-active specificity for the horse. There will be no riding in these clinics. The goal of these opportunities is to learn as Sam demonstrates with multiple horses how to recognize and address the above commonly overlooked aspects of Horsemanship. These are audit-only clinics. Learning to assign value to the above-listed common problem areas can diminish the root cause(s) creating often the challenging and overwhelming aspects during interaction with the horse. This crucial aspect of refining the human skill-set increases the quality of the equine partnership. All-level horse experience is welcome. Recommended for equines enthusiasts ages 15+. These are designed as a safe and supportive learning opportunity with group instruction and discussion. A Client's Past Clinic Comments Thought I should tell you, though, how often I use the tools you give us. Feeding, leading, loading, riding, it doesn't matter what I'm doing, I'm far more aware of what my horses are feeling and thinking, which (as you obviously know!) leads to better communication and a positive outcome. I think the loading moments are my favorites...where is the brain?...come back to me!...oh, hello, you wanted what? Thanks for expanding the horizons of both me and my horse. Marilyn WA
