Horse Goals

If I had to be honest, most horses that come to me nowadays have a lot of baggage. A majority of their time with me is spent undoing what has been previously taught through aggressive, hurried training tactics...

just to get the horse to the point where they can become mentally available to learn how to learn.

From there it's like colt starting all over again, irrelevant of the horse's age.

I am constantly in a state of assessing and evaluating horse behavior for: pain issues, mental trauma, physical coping patterns, sleep deprivation, dietary imbalances, social dysfunction, and many other contributors that all influence the equine interaction and his ability to learn and retain- without fear.

It exhausting to scroll social media and watch how many professionals have such a limited focus on "getting results" now, that what and how they they teach the general public, sets up both the horse and human to have long-term trauma and fear/dysfunctional issues.
