#Equi-Quality Challenge
Day 1
I suggest to the mindset that the ride or session begins when you THINK about going for the ride.
During the time it takes to get to the horse facility, or if he is at kept at your property, and you're heading home, it is your Opportunity to practice compartmentalizing all of the other distractions and potential stresses of life. Learning to do so helps you become clear in your mind and emotions BEFORE you arrive to your horse.
Initial recognition of how frequently your thoughts are constantly fleeting, and some practice to integrate this into equine partnership preparation of ourself.
Once you learn to do so, you'll immediately realize how much "more" time it feels you have in assessing the horse, and offering clear communication, without life's chaos influencing your mental availability towards the horse.
Where could you start to Practice becoming clear minded before spending time with your horse? Share your thoughts below

I find it helpful just to acknowledge my feelings nonjudgementally, and then like you said, breathe them out and "put them aside" as I drive down the road toward the pasture, and think how fortunate I am to have some horse time!
